RTR makes speed claims comparable only when timing scope and output conditions remain attached. It is a threshold metric, not a quality score.
The formula
A five-second clip generated in three seconds has an RTR of 0.60. A five-second clip generated in eight seconds has an RTR of 1.60.
Inference vs end-to-end
Inference RTR isolates backend generation. End-to-end RTR includes queueing, preprocessing, encoding, storage, and delivery. Both are useful; they answer different questions.
Required conditions
Record resolution, FPS, duration, native audio, endpoint, region, cold or warm state, queue time, sample count, percentile, and verification date beside the result.
